April Forella has spent the last 7 years working with children and families in the child welfare system. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
She has provided services in the following areas: Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and attachment issues. She has attended trainings in the area of Attachment Disorders, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Bethesda Family Service Foundation--Restoring Relationships model, Stress Management for Business Women, Crisis Prevention & Intervention, Love and Logic Parenting, Foster Care 101, Trauma, Grief & Resiliency in Children. April currently works in a group practice counseling children, teens and their families. She is certified in PREPARE/ ENRICH and Couples Communication. She continues to train and develop in the area of trauma and attachment issues.
